In advance of the workshop, we would like to connect individually with each of you to learn a bit about your backgrounds, goals, interests, and learning styles. The workshop will be customized to meet the needs of those participating, so these conversations provide us with important information as well as a chance to say hello and answer any questions before we meet in person.
Below is a link to sign-up for a 30-minute interview (conducted via Zoom). If you are unable to make any of the time slots listed, please reach out directly to firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com.
In an effort to help ensure everyone’s travel goes smoothly and to assist in coordinating local transportation, please enter your information in the spreadsheet below (along with any food allergies or preferences).
Please be in touch if we can help in any way. We have a number of lodging options listed at the bottom of this page, with links to booking sites.
MEALS: Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be served each day and dinner on Monday 1/28 will also be provided. Dinner on Tuesday and Wednesday is self-organized and not included in the workshop fee, however, we will help in identifying a common restaurant for each night should everyone want to eat together.
DRESS: We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting ink or a possible paint splatter on.
LODGING: Below is a link to a list of local lodging options. Please update the spreadsheet when you have finalized your travel and accommodation bookings. If you are interested in sharing a room, or booking a house with another participant, please let us know and we can work to coordinate.
TRAVEL: The nearest airport is Bradley International Airport (BDL). BDL is about 45 minutes from Easthampton. There is an Amtrak station in Springfield, MA (about 20 minutes from Easthampton). We are happy to help secure transport on request.
WHAT TO BRING: You will receive markers and journals onsite. If you have interest in learning with your own markers, feel free to bring them. You won’t need anything additional for the workshop.

Lyft and Uber are available in the area, through it is probably best to make arrangements in advance for transport to and from the airport or train station.
From Bradley, there are generally cabs available, though we recommend you book in advance, using any of the links on the left, or by finding a service from the list on the Airport website here.
While you are in town, if you need transportation to and from our studio, we recommend GoGreen Cab or Lyft. We will share a list of attendees as we get closer, as well as their locations, so we can also help coordinate ride-sharing when possible.
